Green Living:  Jeanne has been doing her part to preserve the environment by keeping well-loved furniture from ending up in landfills for over 30 years.  From an early age she was influenced by her grandmother's love of nature and desire to leave this earth in a more pristine condition than it was when she first arrived. Nanny always said "Why would you throw away a perfectly good sofa when you can recover it?"  Jeanne couldn't wait until she was 6 years old, when Nanny would teach her how to use the sewing machine.  It was only natural that her passion for sewing and love of nature would lead her to a career in this field.

If you've dreamed of having white furniture, but have hesitated to follow current decorating trends for practical reasons, custom slipcovers are the perfect option for you.  Jeanne offers a line of organic cotton duck or twill in two different weights, one of which is bound to fit your family's lifestyle.  These cotton fabrics are available in white, natural, off-white, and a variety of colors for as little as $12.00/yard.  We can even pre-wash the fabric before the slipcover is actually cut which will result in a more relaxed fit that can be washed in the future with no fear of shrinking.  Especially for those of us who love our furry friends!
